Welcome to my site.
I am a Scotland-based journalist with significant experience in the mediums of print, online and broadcast.
My work has been published in a number of well-known newspapers and I have also written for their online sections. These include The Independent, the Evening Times (Glasgow), the Daily Record, the Cumbernauld News, the Kirkintilloch Herald, the Kilsyth Chronicle and the Falkirk Herald. I have also written for motoring magazine Autocar and produced work for Real Radio.
Recently, I have picked-up two awards for my feature writing. I was presented with the Royal Environmental Health Institute for Scotland (REHIS) Journalism Award on November 18, 2009. I collected the prize during a ceremony in the Apex International Hotel in Edinburgh after my article about the misery caused by noise pollution was chosen by the judges.
I was also invited to spend two weeks working at The Independent in London when my feature on Alzheimer's Disease was selected as the winner of the Wyn Harness Prize for Young Journalists 2009.
Please take a moment to find out more about my work from the
